Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has added a new chapter to his personal and professional life, celebrating the birth of his first son with his wife, Ibukun Moses-Simon, Soccernet.football reports.
The couple, who have been married since 2015, welcomed their baby boy in the early hours of Monday, January 27, 2025.
The joyous news comes as a double triumph for Simon, who has been excelling for FC Nantes in Ligue 1 this season. His wife Ibukun, a childhood sweetheart and mother to their two daughters, also runs the Simoiben Football Academy, based in Kaduna, where Moses is the key financial backer.
I find no words strong enough to express my exact feelings, I’m sincerely grateful to GOD. GOD has blessed my home with a baby boy. Thanks my Queen for this marvelous gift to our family, you are indeed a strong woman and I am always proud of you ❤️ pic.twitter.com/GNoMj3ZSHo

On the pitch, Simon continues to impress. Just on Sunday, the Nigerian international delivered his 11th goal contribution of the season, setting up Mostafa Mohamed’s late equalizer in Nantes’ 1-1 draw with Lyon.
Simon now boasts five goals and six assists in 17 Ligue 1 appearances this campaign, already surpassing his contributions from last season, despite playing five fewer matches.
