Mbappe is expected to sign with Real Madrid soon after leaving Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent.
The French forward has taken time to decide his next move, and it appears he will join Real Madrid, fulfilling Florentino Perez’s long-standing wish.
Real Madrid recently won their sixth Champions League in ten years by beating Borussia Dortmund at Wembley. Adding Mbappe to their squad has sparked discussions about how formidable they will be next season.
Bellingham told TNT Sports, “If Mbappe joins us, it would be amazing. We need a clinical striker like him. He would elevate us to another level. He’s one of the best players in the world.”
Real Madrid already have a strong attack with Brazilians Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior, who scored in the final against Borussia Dortmund. Mbappe’s addition would further strengthen their strikeforce.
At PSG, Mbappe won six Ligue 1 titles, four Coupes de France, and led the club to its first UEFA Champions League final in 2020. He is PSG’s all-time top goalscorer and third in assists and ranks as the seventh-highest goalscorer in Ligue 1 history.
Internationally, Mbappe debuted for France in 2017 at 18. In the 2018 World Cup, he became the youngest French player to score and the second teenager to score in a World Cup final, helping France win the tournament. He won the World Cup Best Young Player and French Player of the Year awards. Mbappe also helped France win the 2021 UEFA Nations League and was the top scorer. In the 2022 World Cup, he won the Golden Boot and Silver Ball, scoring a record hat-trick in the final. Mbappe is one of only two players to score in two consecutive World Cup finals.
