According to Voz Populi, Mbappe has struck a deal with his former PSG teammate Sergio Ramos to acquire his luxurious property in the city’s La Moraleja neighborhood.
Ramos previously resided in this mansion during his time at Real Madrid. Initially not intending to sell, Ramos had a change of heart after recent discussions between Mbappe’s agent and mother, Fayza Lamari, and Ramos’ brother, Rene.
Sources indicate that negotiations have been finalized, with Mbappe viewing the mansion as an ideal investment that aligns with his lifestyle preferences.
However, the transaction is contingent upon Real Madrid’s official announcement of Mbappe’s signing, which is expected after PSG concludes their Champions League campaign this season.
Mbappe’s rumoured move to La Liga is not new, though.
In 2022, the French forward was reportedly close to joining Real Madrid but opted to extend his contract with PSG instead.
Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, allegedly offered Mbappe an unprecedented deal, including a substantial salary, a €130 million signing bonus, and control over his image rights. However, political pressures from France and Qatar, along with lucrative renewal terms from PSG’s Nasser Al-Khelaifi, persuaded Mbappe to stay in Paris until 2025.
Despite his current contract, Mbappe has announced his intention to depart PSG at the end of the season.
Reports suggest that this time, Real Madrid will secure his signature, with Mbappe agreeing to a five-year deal worth between €14 and €19 million, plus a substantial signing bonus.
Mbappe is currently focused on PSG’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Borussia Dortmund following a 1-0 defeat in the first leg on Wednesday (May 1).
