The 24-year-old Dutch forward, who had attracted interest from Manchester United and Bologna, will head to the Stadio Olimpico, where he will receive a significant salary increase.
Sky Sport Italia has confirmed that the agreement involves a five-year contract for Noslin, with the Dutch forward earning approximately €1.5 million per season at Lazio.
Noslin, who turns 25 next week, has shown remarkable potential since his €3 million transfer to Verona from Fortuna Sittard in January. He quickly adapted to Serie A, contributing five goals and four assists in just 17 games, which inevitably drew attention from major clubs across Europe.
Lazio’s recent hiring of former Verona coach Marco Baroni, who has previously worked with Noslin, undoubtedly played a role in securing the forward’s commitment. Noslin, primarily a right-sided winger, also offers versatility by being capable of playing as a centre-forward or on the left flank, providing Lazio with multiple tactical options.
This acquisition may lead Lazio to reconsider their pursuit of Manchester United winger Mason Greenwood, as Noslin’s arrival bolsters their attacking line-up.
Noslin’s Career Journey
Born in Amsterdam, Noslin’s early football career saw him play for several local clubs before moving to FC Den Bosch’s academy at 14.
Despite setbacks, including being released from FC Twente’s academy due to his height, Noslin persevered. His journey included stints at amateur clubs such as USV Hercules and DHSC, where he was mentored by notable figures like Wesley Sneijder.
In the summer of 2021, Noslin signed with TOP Oss, which led to a free transfer to Eredivisie side Fortuna Sittard.
His professional debut came in September 2021, and he quickly made an impact, scoring his first goal against Willem II. By his second season, Noslin had become a regular starter, with his performances earning praise from pundits like Rafael van der Vaart.
In January 2024, Noslin made his move to Serie A with Hellas Verona, where he continued to impress, culminating in his recent high-profile transfer to Lazio.
